Insurance

Most venues ask for proof of insurance before an outside vendor loads in. This page explains the coverage we carry, the limits on our current certificate, and how to request a certificate for your event.

Coverage Overview

Double Down Casino Events LLC carries commercial general liability insurance written by Next Insurance US Company (NAIC #16285) through Next First Insurance Agency, Inc.

The policy is written on an occurrence form, and the general aggregate limit applies per policy. The current policy period runs from September 5, 2026 through September 5, 2027.

Coverage applies to the setup, operation, and teardown of the casino tables and services listed on your rental agreement.

02

Current Coverage Limits

Our certificate of liability insurance lists the following limits:

  • Each occurrence — $1,000,000
  • General aggregate — $2,000,000
  • Products and completed operations aggregate — $2,000,000
  • Personal and advertising injury — $1,000,000
  • Damage to rented premises, each occurrence — $100,000
  • Medical expenses, any one person — $15,000

Limits shown may be reduced by paid claims. This page is a summary; the policy documents themselves govern the actual terms, exclusions, and limits of coverage.

Certificates of Insurance

If your venue requires a certificate of insurance, we can issue one at no additional cost. Certificates are issued by our carrier on the standard ACORD 25 form and name the venue or entity you specify as certificate holder. To request one, send us:

  • The exact legal name of the venue or entity to be listed.
  • The mailing address the venue wants shown on the certificate.
  • Any additional insured wording the venue requires.
  • The event date and load-in time.

Please allow several business days before your event so the certificate can be issued and reviewed by the venue in time.

A certificate of insurance is issued as a matter of information only. It confers no rights on the certificate holder and does not amend, extend, or alter the coverage afforded by the policy, and it is not a contract between the insurer, the agency, and the certificate holder.

04

Additional Insured Requests

Venues, property managers, and corporate clients can be named as additional insured for the date of the event when their contract requires it.

For a certificate holder to actually be an additional insured, the policy must carry additional insured provisions or be endorsed — a line on the certificate alone does not grant those rights. The same applies to a waiver of subrogation, which may require its own endorsement.

Send the requirement in writing and we will confirm whether it can be accommodated before your agreement is finalized.

05

What Is Not Covered

Our current certificate lists commercial general liability only. The following lines are not included on it:

  • Commercial automobile liability.
  • Umbrella or excess liability.
  • Workers' compensation and employers' liability.

The general liability policy also covers our own operations only. It does not extend to:

  • Property, staff, or activities belonging to the venue or other vendors.
  • Guest personal property, vehicles, or belongings.
  • Alcohol service, catering, valet, or entertainment provided by third parties.
  • Damage caused by guests or by conditions outside our control at the venue.
06

Client and Venue Coverage

Some venues require the event host to carry their own event liability policy in addition to vendor coverage. Check with your venue early, since this can affect your timeline.

We are happy to coordinate directly with a venue coordinator to confirm what documentation is needed.

07

Safety Practices

Our team follows consistent setup practices to reduce risk at every event, including securing table legs, routing cables safely, and keeping walkways clear.

Dealers and supervisors are briefed on venue-specific rules before guests arrive.

08

Reporting an Incident

If an incident occurs during your event, notify our on-site supervisor immediately so it can be documented while details are fresh.

Follow-up reports can be sent to admin@doubledowncasinoevents.com with the event date, venue, and a description of what happened.

09

Complaints About the Policy

If there is a problem with a claim or a premium, contact the insurance company first. If the issue cannot be worked out, the Texas Department of Insurance may be able to help.

Even after filing a complaint with the Texas Department of Insurance, a complaint or appeal should also be filed through the insurance company. Skipping that step can forfeit the right to appeal.
